The Worship Associates offer to e-mail a brief message periodically. The messages will typically be short readings or quotes from the previous Sunday's service. This is an opt-in service. If you wish to receive these "soul food" messages (or be removed from the list), please send an email to UUfoodforsoul@comcast.net . The church office does not administer this list, so please use the address just given.

As an example, the following new translation from the original Aramaic of the "Lord's Prayer" was offered following the March 31, 2002, service.

O Birther of the Cosmos,
Focus your light within us-- make it useful:
Create your reign of unity now--
Your one desire then acts with ours,
as in all light, so in all forms.
Grant what we need each day in bread and insight.
Loose the cords of mistakes binding us,
as we release the strands we hold of other's guilt.
Don't let surface things delude us,
But free us from what holds us back.
From you is born all ruling will,
the power and the life to do,
the song that beautifies all,
from age to age it renews.
