Opportunities for Fellowship
There are endless opportunities for fellowship and sharing common interests at First Universalist. Some are
highly organized, but many others develop informally.
- Following each Sunday service (9:00 and 11:00 services during the regular
year, and at 10:00 during the summer), coffee and tea are available in the
Social Hall directly below the sanctuary. All are welcome. There is play
equipment for children, but parents are expected to take responsibility for
their own children.
- Groups are organized (and sometimes disappear) around particular interests
such as photography, parenting, theatre and bicycling. Your best bet is to
refer to the current issue of our newsletter, The Liberal, or the
online versions of the newsletter and
calendar of events.
- The All Church Council Director for Fellowship has responsibility for
coordinating the many volunteers who make Sunday mornings flow--users,
greeters, and coffee servers. This is easy duty and easy way to meet a lot
of people. Contact Ginny McAninch or call the church office.
- Circle Suppers are organized each fall. Participants
meet for dinner several times a year with a rotating cast of other people.
