New members are always welcome. Please introduce yourself to our director, Janice Hunton, or another member of the choir.

• No audition is required
• However, some experience in part singing and reading music is helpful

Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening from 7:00 to about 9:00 

• Warm-ups begin promptly at 7:00
• The first half of the rehearsal is typically devoted to music for the upcoming Sunday; the second half (after a break) for music to be presented later

The choir sings at the 9:00 and 11:00 services an average of twice a month (with summers off).

• On Sundays when we sing, we usually assemble by 8:15 to warm up and review the music for that morning

We sing a much wider repertoire than most churches--early, modern, sacred, secular, "world", English-language, foreign-language.

• We all have our likes and dislikes, but the director seeks to balance all styles and provide opportunities for even experienced singers to learn and grow
• The selection of music is the responsibility of the director, though she values the opinions of the choir in choosing pieces

Singing in the choir involves both giving and getting

• Together, we make an artistic contribution to Sunday services
• The goal is not to match professional concert choirs, but to do what we can as well as we can --and enjoy doing so within our church community
